Prehistoric Reave

There are several reaves (prehistoric boundaries) within the parish but the longest section can be found along the parish boundary at the western end of Haytor Down. (between the three parishes boundary stone and Hole Rock)  It is amazing to realise that these boundaries have not changed for over 4,000 years and that the parish boundary at this point was the original territorial limit of the first settlers in the area.
